Ableton Live (2)

Ctrl-Shift-R (render selected in arrangement view)

Instruments>Sampler (turns samples .wav's into VSTs)
Drums>Double Click Drum Rack (opens beat menu)

Drag & Drop .wav sample from Folder (D:\Music - FL STUDIO & ABLETON PROJECTS & MIDI's)

TO: User Library (ableton: Places>User Library) under Packs folder



~~How to listen to JUST Session view w/o Arrangement?
-Stop all button (session view) stops ALL sounds
-(even the sound in arrangement view)

~~How to hear Arrangement view sound again?
-Goto Arrangement view and press the orange [ > = ] play all button
-Now all the tracks (in arrangement view) will play again.

~~Edit VST settings by
-Opening a VST (Sylenth1) from (Library>Categories>Plugins>LennarDigital>Sylenth1)
-Pressing that toggle menu button [ > ] in the middle
-It opens up these boxes of VST settings
-Press the [ Configure ] button
-They show up once you edit something in the VST
-Now you can control the modulator (the box with the dot in the middle)
-Right-click on the [ ^ ] arrow to get Automation & Modulation control
-Once you made the Modulation or Automation you can right-click and hit [ Clear Envelope] if you don't like it
-You can get rid of the settings boxes by pressing configure (they turn green), then select one, then press Delete.
-YOU MUST click the [ Configure ] button to make the boxes show up or do anything
-Otherwise... you're messing w/ the VST doing nothing

~~~ TURN ON SNAP MODE - SNAPPING HELPS ALOT ~~~
Ctrl-4 (turn on snap)
Ctrl-2 (make snap spacing bigger) (less snaps)
Ctrl-1 (make snap spacing smaller) (more snaps)


Ctrl-R (to rename anything)

1. Drag in track
2. Bring Start/End Points to selected part
3. Record to Arrangement view
4. Select over part you want to render (highlight basically)
5. Render to .wave (Ctrl-Shift-R)
